World Ski & Snowboard Festival (April 15

Whistler Blackcomb Ski and Snowboard
Snowcross (Jan. 25 – 26 and Feb. 29 – March
1): These events are recreational competitions
open to participants aged 9 to 13. Amateur
skiers and boarders can compete on the Terrain
Park Snowcross course in different divisions.

Coast Outdoors P’ayakentsut Cross Country
Ski Event (Feb. 22): Be at Whistler Olympic
Park at 10 a.m. for this freestyle loppet on 15-,
30- or 50-km courses through old-growth forest
and on world-class racing trails. It is the largest
loppet in B.C., with thousands in giveaways
and prizes! The P’ayak Mini, a 5-km loppet for
children aged 5 to 12, starts at 1 p.m.
TELUS Winter Classic (March 6 – 7): The
26th annual TELUS Winter Classic is Whistler
Blackcomb Foundation’s legendary fundraising
event of the season. Join in a fun-filled weekend
of wine, beer and gourmet food, ski events and

Whistler Blackcomb National Junior
Freeride Challenge (March 20 – 22): This
IFSA (International Freeskiers & Snowboarders
Association) event challenges competitors
aged 12 to 18 on big mountain terrain. They
are scored based on style, control, technique,
fluidity and line choice.

The Whistler Holiday Experience (Dec. 21
– Jan. 5): This family fun zone is unparalleled
for indoor entertainment! Kids enjoy a mini-putt
course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts
and video games free over the holiday season.
Takes place daily (excluding Dec. 25) from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m. (noon to 7 p.m. on Dec. 31) at the
Whistler Conference Centre.
Whistler Presents: New Year’s Eve
Celebrations (Dec. 31): Say farewell to the
old and welcome the new at this alcohol-free
evening of family entertainment and celebration
