Audain Art Museum Walk and Talk Tours
(year-round): Every Wednesday through
Monday, at select times, join their knowledgeable
docents on a one-hour introductory museum
tour, which is included in the admission price.
Various other ongoing events and programs are
also at the museum.
Fire & Ice Show (Dec. 22 – March 29): Every
Sunday night, plus special added dates, spend
your evening with family and friends for free live
entertainment! Who can resist fireworks and fire
spinners — especially when snowflakes fill the
air! Whistler’s best skiers and riders, including
Whistler Blackcomb Snow School’s finest, hit a
big air jump through a blazing ring of fire. Skiers
Plaza, Whistler Village base. Show starts at 7

Family Après (Dec. 9 – March 25): The Whistler
Farmers’ Market returns to the pedestrian
streets of the Upper Village Stroll, featuring
local produce, tasty artisan foods, local artists,
and entertainment. Times: Sundays and long
weekend Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and
Wednesdays (July 3 – Aug. 28) 2 to 7 p.m.
Made in Whistler Market (Dec. 15 – March 29):
Every Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. on Level 1,
at the Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler. Browse
and shop artisans’ unique hand-made goods,
including jewellery, pottery, fine art, fashions,
food and more. Additional markets on Dec. 23

First Nations Winter Feast (Dec. 15 – March
29): Every Sunday and Thursday visit the
Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) for an
exclusive after-hours museum dining experience,
featuring a blend of traditional ingredients and
preparation with modern dishes; accompanied
by First Nations members in traditional regalia
sharing songs and stories. Doors open at 5: 15
p.m. to start the evening with a tour led by

Kokanee Valley Race Series (Dec. 19 – March
12): The Kokanee Valley Race Series is held
on select Thursdays throughout the season.
The series is open to skiers, telemarkers and
snowboarders, with prizes given in different
gender and age divisions. No racing experience
is required to join in on the fun of recreational

Whistler Film Festival (Dec. 4 – 8): In its
19th year, featuring five action-packed days of
everything in film, including premieres, industry
summits, parties and guest appearances by
actors and directors.
Viessmann Luge World Cup and BMW
Sprint World Cup (Dec. 13 – 14): Cheer on the
world’s fastest luge athletes as they compete
for titles in men’s, women’s, doubles and sprint
races at the Whistler Sliding Centre.
