REBECCA WOOD BARRETT
A Whistler local of 20 years, Rebecca is a
freelance writer, video producer and creative
writing teacher, with a love for exploring
mountain culture in stories.
Alexandra Gill has been the West Coast
restaurant critic for The Globe and Mail
since 2005 and a journalist for 20 years. A
National Newspaper Award nominee, her
freelance writing has appeared in numerous
publications including Maclean’s, Vancouver
Magazine, Chatelaine, enRoute and eater.com.
She is a judge for Iron Chef Canada, the
Chinese Restaurant Awards and Canada’s 100

David is an award-winning writer and editor
with a passion for nature and outdoor
recreation. An avid cross-country skier and
distance runner, he also enjoys cycling on
the Sea to Sky Corridor’s roads and trails and
spending time with his family. Find him at
Rooted in Pemberton, Steve enjoys British
Columbia’s amazing outdoor recreation as
an avid mountain biker and snowboarder.
When not riding at Whistler and Blackcomb
or exploring Pemberton and Squamish’s
trail networks, Steve can likely be found in
the nearest taphouse, sampling B.C.’s latest
craft beers. He’s keen to tell you about the
adventures, experiences and lifestyle available
in and around the Coast Mountains.
Originally from the U.K., Dee followed her love
of the snow to the mountains and never left.
Dee has been honing her craft online, in print,
and on TV for the past 12 years. Dee loves to
get outside with her husband, young daughter
and wolf dog named Yuki.
