Snow School’s finest, hit a big air jump through
a blazing ring of fire. Skiers Plaza, Whistler
Village base. Show starts at 7 p.m.
Family Après (Dec. 18 – March 28): Every
Monday and Wednesday. Enjoy outdoor
Canadian winter fun at Whistler Olympic
Plaza. A variety of activities and entertainment
happen each week. FREE. Join in and extend
your day’s fun, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Kokanee Valley Race Series (Dec. 14 – March
22): The Kokanee Valley Race Series is held
on select Thursdays throughout the season.
The series is open to skiers, telemarkers and
snowboarders with different gender and age
divisions. No racing experience is required to
join in on the fun of recreational racing.
Arts Whistler – Made in Whistler Market
(Dec. 16 – March 31): Every Saturday from
noon to 6 p.m. at the Westin Resort & Spa,
Whistler. Browse and shop artisans’ unique
hand-made goods, including jewellery, pottery,
fine art, fashions, food and more.
Park Rider Ski and Snowboard Sessions
(Dec. 17 – Feb. 18): Select dates. Open to
skiers and snowboarders of all ages, Park
Rider Sessions feature slopestyle, rail jams and
halfpipe competitions. Helmets are mandatory.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended as
events do sell out. Register through all Whistler
Blackcomb Guest Relations and Ski School
King of the Rail presented by Showcase
(Dec. 20; Dec. 27; Jan. 3): The King of
the Rail is a series of rail jam contests at 6
p.m. at the base of Whistler Mountain next
to the Fitzsimmons Chair. Categories for
snowboarders and skiers, males and females,
adults and youth. All participants have a
chance to win fantastic draw prizes.
Arts Whistler – Arts Whistler Live (Select
Dates): A series of performances featuring live
music, theatre and comedy at Maury Young
Arts Centre. Experience shows by outstanding
local and touring performers.
Official Opening Day - Winter (US
Thanksgiving Day): This is the day skiers
and snowboarders look forward to all year!
Celebrate your very first tracks of the season!
Whistler and Blackcomb mountains as well as
the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola open for skiing,
riding and sightseeing. Date subject to

Arts Whistler’s Holiday Market (US
Thanksgiving Day Weekend): Featuring
artisans from the Sea to Sky Corridor, Lower
Mainland and beyond. A wide array of
ceramics, clothing, fine art, wood, glass, metal,
jewellry, leather, candles, as well as Christmas
decorations. Plus, live music and a food court.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to
4 p.m. at the Whistler Conference Centre.
The Whistler Holiday Experience (Dec. 22 –
Jan 4): This family fun zone is unparalleled for
indoor entertainment! Kids enjoy a mini-putt
course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts
and video games free over the holiday season.
Takes place daily (excluding Dec. 25 and Dec.
31) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (noon to 6 p.m. on
Jan. 1) at the Whistler Conference Centre.
