Whistler Film Festival (Nov. 30 – Dec. 4):
Celebrating its 16th edition this year, the
Whistler Film Festival is one of the leading
festivals in Canada. Featuring innovative
and original films from around the world and
opportunities to connect with the people who
made them, this year’s festival will be filled
with more premieres, star-studded guests, and
lively celebrations than ever before!
BMW, IBSF World Cup Bobsleigh and
Skeleton (Dec. 2 – 3): Cheer on some of the
best international athletes as they compete on
the fastest ice track in the world, the Whistler
The Whistler Holiday Experience (Dec. 17
– 30): This family fun zone is unparalleled for
indoor entertainment! Kids enjoy a mini-putt
course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts
and video games free for 14 days over the
holiday season. Takes place daily (excluding
Dec. 25) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the
Whistler Conference Centre.
Whistler Presents: New Year’s Eve
Celebrations (Dec. 31): Say farewell to the
old and welcome the new at this alcohol-free
evening of family entertainment and celebration
in Whistler Village. Enjoy multiple early Kids’

Fire & Ice Show (Dec. 18 – March 26): Every
Sunday night, plus special added dates.
Spend your evening with family and friends
with free live entertainment! Who can resist
fireworks and fire spinners — especially when
snowflakes fill the air! Whistler’s best skiers
and riders, including Whistler Blackcomb
Snow School’s finest, hit a big air jump through
a blazing ring of fire. Skiers Plaza: Whistler
Village base. Show starts at 6: 30 pm.
Family Après (Dec. 19 – March 29): Every
Monday and Wednesday. Enjoy outdoor
Canadian winter fun at Whistler Olympic
Plaza. A variety of activities and entertainment
happen each week. FREE. Join in and extend
your day’s fun, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Kokanee Valley Race Series (Dec. 15,
Jan. 5 – March 23): The Kokanee Valley
Race Series is held on select Thursdays
throughout the season. The series is open to
skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders, with
different gender and age divisions. No racing
experience is required to join in on the fun of
Park Rider Ski and Snowboard Sessions
(Dec. 18 – March 5): Select dates. Open to
skiers and snowboarders of all ages, Park
Rider Sessions feature slopestyle, rail jams and
halfpipe competitions. Helmets are mandatory.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended as
events do sell out. Register through all Whistler
Blackcomb Guest Relations and Ski School
King of the Rail presented by Showcase
(Dec. 21; Dec. 28; Jan. 4): The King of the
Rail is a series of rail jam contests at 6:00
p.m. at the base of Whistler Mountain next
to the Fitzsimmons Chair. Categories for
snowboarders and skiers, males and females,
adults and youth. All participants have a
chance to win fantastic draw prizes from
Showcase, Quiksilver, Roxy and DC.
Arts Whistler – Arts Whistler Live
(Dec. 10; Jan. 26; Feb. 16; March 3, 15; April
1, 22, 29; May 6): A series of performances
featuring live music, theatre and comedy at
Maury Young Arts Centre. Experience shows
by outstanding local and touring performers.

Celebrate your very first tracks of the season!
Whistler and Blackcomb mountains as well as
the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola open for skiing,
riding and sightseeing. Date subject to
Arts Whistler’s Holiday Market (Nov. 26 – 27):
Featuring artisans from the Sea to Sky Corridor,
Lower Mainland and beyond. A wide array of
ceramics, clothing, fine art, wood, glass, metal,
jewellry, leather, candles, as well as Christmas
decorations. Plus live music and a food court.
