Sea to Sky, All-British Car Rally (Sept. 21):
One of the last British car runs of the season,
this day gives participants the opportunity to
drive the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver
to Whistler, where the cars are displayed in the
Olympic Plaza from 11: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Whistler Writers Festival (Oct. 17 – 20):
Celebrating the written word, this is a chance
to meet renowned authors, listen to dynamic
speakers’ panels and attend workshops, reading
events, evenings of music and engaging

Fungus Among Us Mushroom Festival
(Oct. 19–20): Presented by the Whistler
Naturalists Society, this two-day event includes
presentations and guided walks by experts in
this field, as well as a gourmet wild mushroom
tasting on Saturday!
WFF Summer Cinema Series (Aug. 12 –
Sept. 2): Monday evenings from 7 to 11 p.m.
(movie starts at dusk), free and family-friendly
outdoor movies at Creekside Plaza at the base
of Whistler Mountain. Bring your lawn chair or
blanket, have a picnic or dine in Creekside.
Pemberton Slow Food Cycle Sunday (Aug.
18): A pedal-powered trip through the natural
buffet that is Pemberton Meadows farmland
allows you to meet local growers, sample and
purchase produce fresh from the field, crafts
and much more. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
RBC GranFondo Whistler (Sept. 7): Three
routes between 55 km and 152 km and more
than 4,500 cyclists proceed along the stunning
Sea to Sky Highway in a car-free dedicated
lane, finishing with a hero’s welcome in Whistler.

Subaru Ironman Canada and Subaru
Ironman 70. 3 (July 28): Ironman, one of the
world’s toughest triathlons, returns with more
than 2,000 athletes competing on courses that
